AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

Posted on |

Lately, I’ve been so busy with my work, new projects, and with our restless toddler. But last Sunday, July 24, 2022, I was able to pass AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.  Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts and experience on the said exam certification.

I can’t say that my preparation for the exam was 2 months, it’s actually a continuation of my review in the last exam I took which is AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty. My review for AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty was very helpful because some topics were also covered like AWS Networking (VPC), Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Auto Scaling, EC2, Load Balancer, Lambda Edge, etc. The videos, books, and tools I used for studying are as follows:

I spent 150USD for the exam (300USD originally). I got a 50% off from my last exam on AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty. I took the exam via Pearson Vue OnVue Online at my home or office. I spent also 17USD Udemy by Zeal Vora (make sure to use coupons from Zeal Vora’s Github account) and 14USD tutorialsdojo.com practice exam.

Don’t just depend on the videos and practice exams, make sure to read the docs and test. I already have 7 AWS certifications before I took AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and this one is the toughest among AWS Certification exams. Some questions and answer selections are long to read. I maximize my exam time and didn’t hurry. Make sure to review those questions that you are unsure of.

Big thanks to my patiently and lovely wife Amah Galon CPA,MBA,(CMA), no words can express how thankful I am. Thank you also to my kids, Zeev and Amahri.

Good luck to those who will take the exam and see you around 🙂
